I plan to first post about Sister Xia, then wait for the little guys to revive before charging the tower.
Considering this was originally an anonymous forum, signing feels like meeting online friends in person.
I apologize for not soliciting signatures on the forum.
If the school doesn’t reinstate the previous system, I plan to collaborate with first and second-year high school students to write a letter to the school leadership after school starts, and will try to get some parents to share it in parent groups (TBD). I hope everyone can come and support us then!
Anyway, thank you all!
If we revise the petition for improvement, one point is to see what changes the school will make during this period, and another is to add the cancellation of this b** interface. Additionally, include a requirement that whatever solution is adopted, it must be announced sufficiently in advance with clear details, giving students time to migrate and back up data, and to provide feedback.
Mainly, I think the core demand regarding the webpage is not an issue.
Thirdly, we understand that the school designed the home screen UI to help students focus on their studies. However, from a results perspective, the home screen forced into landscape mode is not compatible with WeChat Work and Yuque, nor is it suitable for placing the tablet on a book page for comparative reading when checking answers. Furthermore, the various applications that were originally on a single home screen could be used by simply clicking them. After the redesign, they need to be found in specific categories and then clicked, and there might be misunderstandings about the categorization (e.g., WeChat Work being classified under ‘Learning’), leading to operational inconvenience. To my knowledge, the original home screen did not lead to the tablet being used for non-study purposes.
Well, compared to demanding a website, I think hoping for data backup is a relatively mild request, isn’t it? Many people have lost data in just one afternoon.
